Arggghh you ready to find treasures at Tri-County Community Action Agency? Embark on a treasure hunt on Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1176 Huell Matthews Highway in South Boston to find items for mothers and their families such as clothing and diapers while also discovering available resources and support.
This community-driven event reimagines how families access the essentials they need during pregnancy and early parenthood. Outgrown maternity wear, baby clothing, toys, and other infant care items were collected from community donors and will now be redistributed to families at no cost. Instead of ending up in landfills, these gently used items are given new life in the hands of families who truly need them.
Tri-County began accepting gently used clothing and shoes of all sizes, feeding supplies such as cups, plates, utensils, maternity supplies, toys and books as well as new socks, undergarments, diapers, wipes, toiletries and sanitary health supplies in September.
From winter coats to everyday essentials, your donations will help families in need.
Families have until Nov. 6 to drop off their donations for Secondhand Treasures at 1176 Huell Matthews Highway in South Boston.
