Denne aften kan du opleve eksperimenterende artister med et eller flere ben i den elektroniske musik, når SECOND SUN, LYNMASKINEN, CSTL og UNDER RED SKIES tager os med på fire unikke lydrejser. Koncerterne afvikles dels fra scenen, dels på gulvet mellem publikum, så du kan komme helt tæt på.Aftenens koncerter arrangeres i fællesskab af RÅSTOF ROSKILDE og STRØM PÅ ROSKILDE.
RÅSTOF ROSKILDE er en musikforening for musikere fra 18 år og opefter. Foreningens hjerte er øvelokalerne på Musicon, hvor 50 bands holder til. STRØM PÅ ROSKILDE er elektronisk musik præsenteret i forskellige konstallationer og sammenhænge i og omkring Roskilde.
Denne aften er der gratis adgang på Paramount. Dørene åbner kl. 20.00 og første artist spiller 20.30. Vores samarbejdspartner Mute Crew står klar i baren med lækre drikkevarer.

SECOND SUN is the electronic music project of Copenhagen based musician Jacob Rasmussen, presenting ambient soundscapes composed & performed on modular synthesizers, tape machines & effects pedals. The style is instrumental & minimalistic - sometimes with a beat, sometimes not.
SECOND SUN has quickly established himself on the ambient scene as an innovative and ambitious artist. Working with a minimalist aesthetic, and drawing inspiration from artists like Nils Frahm, Brian Eno, and Steve Reich, Second Sun is determined to break with the fast pace of modern society that all too often dictates our lives. His works revolve around immersion, slowness, and space, and invites listeners to stop, reflect, and lose themselves in intricate microcosms of sound.

LYNMASKINEN is an experimental duo based in Copenhagen's underground and with roots in the North Zealand landscape, the idea is to create a sonic beam that can hit the audience so that their own light fills their bodies again... "a lightning that helps the people to be enlightened".
On the journey with Lynmaskinen you are not clear whether you will enter a transcendental meditation, a jungle ritual, a city rave, an avant-garde sound installation or something else entirely.
LYNMASKINEN is Ismael Nivia (Colombia) on transverse flute (& different flutes) & synthesizer, Alex Opazo (Chile) on hybrid drum kit & small electronic machinery.

CSTL, is a French electronic musician living in Copenhagen. With a deep passion for electronic music, he crafts mesmerizing soundscapes that reflect his artistic vision.
CSTL's style is a blend of ambient, minimal techno, acid and cinematic music. All of his productions are strictly live-recorded and processed in one take. He embraces imperfections, limitations, and unexpected moments during live sessions, all part of his philosophy: music in the now. THE WAY OF EXILE described cstl's sound as "a sonic experience that grabs you and doesn’t let go." His unique fusion of tradition and innovation shines through his distinctive sound and intimate live performances, offering a fresh perspective on electronic music production.

UNDER RED SKIES is a project by Carsten Colberg from Roskilde. His inspiration and background from different music genres and instruments clearly shine through in the music.
UNDER RED SKIES’ music can be described as dreamy ambient soundscapes that meets raw and gritty, minimalistic techno. Vibrant and bouncy grooves layered beneath tasteful melodies gently wrapped in soothing effects. Everything is carefully blended into a sonic and rhythmic experience that really wants to get your feet moving, but still with something for the mind to discover. The music is mainly made and played with hardware, such as modular synths, samplers, drum machines and other electronic devices that might be a good fit for the current set-up.
