Second Saturdays at The War Memorial bring families together for a morning of hands-on fun, themed activities, and a live onstage performance—perfect for kids ages 3–10 (and the adults who love them!). Each month offers a new adventure to spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and make memories on our beautiful lakeside campus.
February 14 – We LOVE the Olympics! Celebrate the spirit of the Games with friendly challenges, festive crafts, and a heart-filled nod to athletic fun from around the world. Join the fun! Tickets are just $10 per child (adults free)—reserve your spot today and get ready for a morning of hands-on activities, themed games, and a live performance.
Our popular Second Saturdays events return for the 2025-2026 season! The second Saturday of each month, join us for crafts, activities, games, an onstage performance and more family-friendly fun! These themed monthly events are designed to provide a preview of some of the classes, camps and other experiences we host at the War Memorial throughout the year. Meet some of our instructors and learn more about programs offered at the War Memorial before you commit to a whole session. Plus there’s free coffee for parents, and an indoor place for the kids to run around and burn some energy during those long Michigan Winter weekends. Each session just $10, or get all six sessions for $50. See you there!
