Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan as we collect seeds at Saul Lake Bog Nature Preserve to expand native grassland habitat across West Michigan! This event will happen rain or shine - please come dressed for the weather and wear boots. Tools, water, work gloves, and snacks will be provided.
There is a gravel parking lot at Saul Lake Bog. We will gather in the lot near the preserve signage at 9:00am, and will hike into the preserve together.

This fall, we are celebrating the completion of the 25-year Saul Lake Prairie restoration project, as well as the volunteers who have made it all possible! We hope you can join us for one of our seed collection workdays, or for our final Black Friday Prairie Planting & Celebration event.
Join us immediately following this October Second Saturday for a Second Saturday Social! We’ll celebrate our hard work over refreshments at a local brewery.
