About this Event
The workshop provides a supportive and understanding environment for women to learn more about the divorce process. You will be educated on the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of divorce by experienced family law attorneys, and depending on the sessions, financial experts and mental health professionals. We will also discuss the different ways to get divorced and alternatives to litigation, such as mediation, collaborative divorce, and other ways to resolve your case outside of the courtroom.
Second Saturday started in 1989 in San Diego, created by the non-profit Women’s Institute for Financial Education, the nation’s longest-running non-profit devoted to female financial literacy. Today there are over 100 workshops all across the country.
