We are really excited about our new partnership with Samaritan Inn, located in McKinney, TX! If you didn't know, they are a comprehensive housing program that supports individuals in realizing dignity and gaining independence.Since this is our first time working with them, we do have to plan for a bit of a longer serve than normal. Here are the details:
Time Scheduled: 9:30am--12:30pm
Group Size: max 10, must be 14 and older, teens must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
Location: 103 East University Dr, McKinney 75069. It is a purple building on the corner of Tennessee and US 380.
Dress for the weather, there are many volunteer areas that are either outdoors or in an area exposed to the weather.
There is limited space for storage of personal belongings, please plan accordingly.
They've asked us to carpool, since the parking lot has limited parking - so we will plan on meeting at the church first!
