The second Monday in April is coming up at the beginning of next week; on April 14th to be precise! That makes it uniquely well suited be the date of the Second Monday Shanty Sing, doesn't it? Come join us to sing songs about oceans, whaling, fishing, rivers, lakes, canals, etc. If you want to lead a song keep in mind that your song should be about one or more of these things. And, any songs you bring should have a chorus or repeating refrain or line that everyone can join in on because this is participatory singing! No instruments and no song sheets; just singing. With enthusiasm! This month's song-herder will be Doug, so if you want to get on the list to lead a song for us, find him and see if there are slots available. In any event, enjoy the singing and the harmonies and the joy of being sonically whole.
