About this Event
Our Brother, Mich "Typo" Gehrig is laid to rest at this cemetery, so this cemetery has an extra special place in our hearts. Mich is a retired veteran and proudly served in the Army National Guard for 27 years.
The Second Brigade Motorcycle Club is a fraternal Brotherhood with the love of wisdom and the search for it to promote and support the memory and honor of Vietnam and all Veterans, the POW/MIA cause and the Veteran outreach programs such as: Veterans hospitals, Disabled Veterans and homeless or Veterans retirement homes across the United States.
We honor all those who served in our nation's military as we decorate the tombstones of Fort Sheridan Military Cemetery with fresh wreaths this Holiday Season. Family and friends will join community groups, civic leaders, and patriotic citizens for this solemn commemoration that is as moving as it is meaningful to all concerned. The wreaths, fresh-cut and hand-made in northern Wisconsin, beautifully dress the 3500+ graves as a proper show of appreciation for their commitment to our safety, our freedom and our way of life.
