The Seattle Wassail is a regional Morris dancing tradition. Each year, local sides and visitors from around the Pacific Northwest join us to wassail the apple trees in Meridian Park. We care deeply about cider, so we give our fruit trees attention and care in the traditional way to ensure they bear fruit in the coming year and its cider harvest!
Join us for this family-friendly event that includes singing, dancing, and toasting to the health of the trees. The wassail happens rain or shine, please dress for the weather. Find us near the apple trees on the Northwest side of the park, bordering Meridian Ave N, just South of N. 50th Street.
