About this Event
Join us at the historic Panama Hotel in Seattle for a lively book discussion celebrating Sam Goto’s Seattle Tomodachi, the beloved comic series that captured the stories of early Japanese immigrants and their descendants. Running in the North American Post from 2012 to 2018, the series brought humor and heart to the Japanese American experience in the Pacific Northwest. Sam’s daughter, Kelly, along with his wife, Dee, will lead a discussion of the book, the stories within and how it relates to our own family and cultural history.
Space is limited. Register now and order an copy of the book for pick up at the event!
