Featuring Speakers, March, Chalk-In, Drummers and Live Music.
Featuring a March to Seattle’s Mexican Consulate in support at 11am.
Benefit Music concert at Seattle Central College and participating restaurants on Broadway and in Pike/Pine.
Chalk-In on Broadway will rainbow existing cross walks and create the largest demonstration words of “Impeach”, “No Ice”, “Love” and “Peace”.
An ideal event for families, youth, seniors and disabled to chalk signage and art on Broadway.
Please bring two cans of food for the mutual aid canned food drive and if you “can”, take what you “can” back to your neighbors and local food bank. Why? Because we Can!
Encouraging attendees to bring folding chairs and line Broadway in support of the march and visit your favorite espresso shop, cafe, restaurants and clubs celebrating community in the heart of Seattle's historical LGBTQAI+ neighborhood.
We the People will come together to stand for Democracy, free speech, equality, immigration and LGBTQAI+ rights.
We march in peace. We act in power. We the People. This is what democracy looks like!
The rally will feature Speakers, Artists, music and a mutual aid canned food table. The march will be up Broadway, circling in front of the Mexican Consulate in support and back to Broadway for a Chalk-In / Sin-In supporting the community.
To date this will be Capitol Hill Pride’s eleventh supporting contingent to the national 50501 movement. The Sept. 1st Labor Day event was proud to host WA State Atty. Nick Brown.
Capitol Hill Pride is a 501(c)3 non-profit creating awareness of the LGBTQAI+ community and supporting diversity.
This event is a peaceful movement and Capitol HIll Pride and supporting organizations follow the 50501 movement’s code of non-violence. A De-escalation team and Legal Observers will be on site and we request attendees to not engage with disruptors or instigators.
