High House is a restored and converted 16th/17th century farmhouse situated near the hamlet of Seathwaite in Borrowdale. We’ve been coming here for over 40 years and it’s in a superb location. BEDS: 26 Mixed in 2 dorms – and we reserve the smaller room for the ladies. Don’t forget your sleeping bag. Additional night is booked for Thurs.
COST: TBC for 2 nights (min 2) payable on the weekend or before, plus around £4 for a two course dinner. Bring your own beer or wine (or tea) and don’t forget your other food for Fri/Sat. and out on the hill.
STUFF you need to know: Well equipped hut with cookers, showers, loos, heating and open fire. Good drying facilities, own car-park and is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the best of the Lakes. “One of the best”.
