In this class, whether seated in a wheelchair or chair, students will engage in various movement exercises and explorations that were developed by combining Laban Movement Analysis, the Bartenieff Fundamentals, basic anatomical and physiological functioning, modern dance and additional Somatic Concepts. Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator and Licensed Massage Therapist, Nina Madsen Puckett, uses her unique and extensive background to provide students with an opportunity to embark on a journey of learning to move in new ways, that enhance both function and expression in a safe, nonjudgmental and nurturing environment
