What: A specialist Pilates class designed for people living with chronic back or joint pain. The session is chair-based and uses gentle seated and standing movements, making it suitable for anyone who finds floor-based exercise difficult.Who it’s for: Ideal for those managing back or joint pain, older adults, or anyone who prefers a gentle, supportive style of exercise.
When: Mondays, 11:00 – 11:45 am, starting 16th September.
Where: Borth Community Hall.
Why: To improve mobility, ease discomfort, and build strength in a safe and encouraging environment.
About your instructor:
The class is led by Rachel, a Back Care Pilates Specialist and Exercise & Menopause Coach with over 35 years’ experience in the fitness industry. Rachel holds a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science and is a Level 4 Back Care Practitioner. She is also a Technical Advisor for Pilates and Menopause with YMCA Fit and has taught and trained instructors across the UK. Her expertise ensures each session is safe, effective, and tailored to your needs.
