This intimate group experience offers women an opportunity to reflect on the pivotal rites of passage that shape their lives: menarche, birth, and the perimenopausal transition. Each stage carries meaning and patterns that often resurface in the perimenopausal years, influencing identity, relationships, and one’s sense of purpose. Through mindful reflection and connection, participants will explore how these earlier experiences inform their present lives and prepare for the leadership and wisdom found in the midlife transition. This supportive setting fosters deeper self-understanding, integration, and empowerment.
Part One: Menarche
The first menstrual cycle marks a girl’s transition into womanhood. How this experience was understood, welcomed, or silenced often leaves lasting impressions on body image, self-worth, and identity. In this session, participants will reflect on their early experiences of menarche and how these formative stories resurface later in life.
Part Two: Birth
Whether through motherhood, creative endeavours, or experiences of loss, the rite of birth shapes a woman’s sense of responsibility, resilience, and connection. This session explores how birth stories and subsequent parenting journey continue to influence relationships, identity, and one’s evolving life narrative.
Part Three: Perimenopause/menopause
The transition into peri-menopause is often accompanied by significant emotional and physical change, uncertainty, and renewal. By reflecting on or preparing for this passage, participants gain insight into the patterns and lessons carried forward from earlier stages, preparing them for the wisdom, clarity, and leadership that manifest through their autumn years.
Together, these sessions foster integration, healing, and empowerment, helping women embrace their past while stepping confidently into the purpose and possibilities of their next chapter.
