Join us for an evening of books, community, and winter festivities at Season’s Greetings at the Museum, a special event hosted in conjunction with Morgenstern’s Books, Middle Way House, and New Hope for Families.
The evening will feature a Local Author Fair, where you’ll have the chance to meet talented writers from our community and discover new books for yourself or as gifts for the book lovers in your life.
This event will also feature vintage seasonal postcards from the Museum's collections, presented by our Curator of Archives and Library Resources. Be sure to check out these snippets of holiday history!
Because the holiday season is also a time for giving, we invite you to take part in our Community Giving Tree, held in partnership with both Middle Way House and New Hope for Families. Your donations and gifts will help support individuals and families in need this winter, and we encourage you to join us if you are able.
Feeling creative? Dive into our craft stations! Design your own bookmarks and bookplates, assemble fragrant mulling spice and potpourri packets, make holiday greeting cards for friends and family, and craft one-of-a-kind ornaments to take home. And when you need a break, warm up with a sweet treat at our hot chocolate bar, stocked with marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, and more!

Parking Information:
Limited complimentary parking is available in front of the museum entrance off Indiana Avenue. Street parking is free on weekdays after 5:00 PM in the neighborhoods surrounding the Museum. Paid parking options include the McCalla Building lot off Indiana Avenue, the Indiana Memorial Union lots, and metered street parking along Kirkwood Avenue, East 6th Street, East 4th Street, North Lincoln Street, North Dunn Street, and South Grant Street.
