About this Event
Paper Quilling originated in 15th century Europe and is an art of passion and expression. Our workshop will introduce the materials used and the method of quilling different patterns to design your own hanging board with words of encouragement.
Young or old, creative or not, paper quilling is a fun way to express yourself due to its versatile and expressive nature. Join us on Friday, 30 September at 7:15 pm, and try your hand at this calming art form.
Admission is free, and dinner is provided for all participants.
This workshop is part of SEASONS – new series of free quarterly programmes that aim to promote a healthy and wholesome state of mind. SEASONS is supported by Fund for Fun, a new initiative by TRCL which aims to provide free mental wellness programmes through arts and creative activities. The fund stems from a conviction to address the more pressing mental health issues which have arisen as a result of the pandemic, focusing especially on the toll it has taken on the mental wellness of youth in Singapore.
