About this Event
Seasoned Stories: Spirits of Fèt Gede - An Interfaith Dialogue on Honoring our Ancestors
Join us for an intimate evening of food, dialogue, and celebration.
In a time of division and isolation, Seasoned Stories: Spirits of Fèt Gede offers a different path: communal healing through storytelling and ancestral remembrance.
On November 8th, we gather in Little Haiti to honor Fèt Gede — Haiti's Day of the Dead — while exploring how cultures worldwide venerate those who came before us. From Caribbean All Saints traditions to Judaism's Yizkor, Islam's commemorations, and Mexico's Día de los Muertos, this evening reveals the common threads that connect us across faith and heritage.
