From orchard to city to prairie.Join us for this progressive supper club and travel through the seasons, meeting the land where your food comes from and the people who bring it forth.
Together with friends Chef Vince Paredes of The Farmhouse, and Gail Fuller & Lynnette Miller of Circle 7 Farm, we invite you to move with us through a 3-part dining experience designed to lift your spirit as it nourishes your body.
Three dates. Three locations. An experience.
Each gathering is grounded in growing closer to all that matters: food and friendship, farms and fun.
Guided by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s latest book, The Serviceberry: An Economy of Abundance, you’ll hear local stories of celebrating community and connecting to joy.
We’d love to have you join us for all three supper club experiences but welcome you to join as you’re able.
Part I: Grounding & Regeneration
Wednesday, June 18 | KC Farm School - Gibbs Road Farm Orchard, KCK
$100 | 5:30–8:00 PM
Begin with a stroll through our on-farm farmers market. Then, relax under the trees in our orchard for bites and drinks prepared by chef Vince Paredes. Hands-on harvesting, grounding, and stories of local regenerative action will bring the evening to life.
Part II: The Power of Play
Thursday, September 18 | The Farmhouse, KCMO
$125 | 6:00–8:30 PM
We’ll take summer’s energy to The River Market, and enjoy plates of local produce and protein and friend-making as the dining room at The Farmhouse becomes a community of joyful celebration. Chef Vince will be welcoming two guest chefs into his kitchen. Chef Michael Foust, the original owner of The Farmhouse, and Chef Anourom Thomson, owner of Anousone at Strang Hall.
Part III: Full Circle Way-Making
October 23–24 | Circle 7 Farm, Severy, KS
$500 | Overnight Experience
An overnight immersion on the prairie. Settle into a rhythm of rest and reflection with a full-circle experience at Circle 7 Farm. A sunset farm walkabout, evening supper featuring guest chefs, overnight on the farm, breakfast, and morning farm chores with time around the fire to consider what it means to live in abundance and finding your way to fun. Lodging and all meals included. (Space limited to 15 individuals.)
