Join us for an inspirational, hands-on class held in the greenhouse at Trevenson Moor Garden Centre. In this intimate workshop, you'll learn the basics of mixed container planting with bulb underplanting, including tips on structure, colour, and texture for your arrangements. You'll also get expert advice on plant care and maintenance.The ticket includes training, a pot, and compost, but you'll have the freedom to choose and purchase your plants on the day, making it easy to work within your budget and style. Don’t forget to bring your gloves.
Our team will be on hand to assist as you select plants from our fresh range, with a discount to help you create your ideal arrangement. For reference, the pictured pot cost £20 to fill with plants.
Sunday classes start at 09:00, with tea and coffee served upon arrival. The workshop will allow you the time you need to complete your project.
If you are new to Trevenson Moor, our green house offers a magical atmosphere, lit by festoon and fairy lights at night. You will be working amongst the plants, however it is an unheated greenhouse so can get very cold in the early mornings and late evenings. At present there is no mains drainage on site, so event toilets will be available. With this in mind our events are most suitable for those who are unlikely to be uncomfortable in the conditions we can offer.
Pre-Payment is essential as spaces are limited. Event bookings are non-refundable, however if due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to attend, the booking value can be transferred to a gift voucher providing 24 hours notice is given via our email. If less than 24 hours notice is given, unfortunately we are unable to offer any type of refund.
Members have priority booking until SUNDAY the 21st of September.
