In Seasonal Plant Study we are taking a seasonal approach to learning about the trees, plants, roots, barks, leaves and flowers associated with each season to create a deeper learning experience. Each month we will build our relationship with the plant learning it’s botanical makeup, techniques to incorporate them into your life, working on your personal interaction with the plant and building a personal herbarium. With your registration you will receive a detailed handout each month, a journal to record your personal experiences, and samples of each herb to take home to continue your exploration, a 15% discount (consignment items excluded) in the shop, and 2 scheduled plant walks for the year. Classes will be held the first Saturday of the month from 10:30am-12:30pm. Cost is $225 for all 4 seasons. A certificate of completion will be available to those who complete the course with attendance to all sessions including the plant walks. The class schedule is as follows: 1/11, 4/12, 7/12, and 10/11. Space is limited to 10 attendees.
