Embark on a culinary journey into the art of fresh pasta making, where the flavors of Nantucket's seasonal bounty take center stage. This is a fun, social, and educational experience that connects participants with the island’s local food culture. In this hands-on class, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of crafting pasta dough from scratch and transforming it into a variety of delightful shapes.

Under the guidance of Chef Jason, you'll discover the art of pasta-making and how the freshest, peak-season vegetables inspire our creations. Each class will be slightly different and feature a unique selection of local produce. The island’s farms will dictate the vibrant sauces and variety of pasta shapes we'll explore. 

Whether you're dreaming of crafting elegant ribbons of pappardelle, delicately filling tortellini, or shaping rustic orecchiette, this class will provide you with the knowledge and skills to create stunning, flavorful pasta dishes that celebrate the bounty of the season.

Each class will explore a different technique to create a range of pasta shapes and dishes. Examples include:

• Fettuccine with asparagus, peas, and Meyer lemon beurre blanc
• Orecchiette, sausage, and grilled broccoli rabe
• Chive Spaetzel, whipped feta, fried morels
• Tortellini in Brodo
• Black Pepper Corzetti, marinated tomato, mussels, and pesto
• Squid ink Chitarra, cherry tomatoes, and sopressata
• Pumpkin Cappelletti, brown butter, fried sage
• Gnocchi, grilled corn, bacon, oyster mushrooms 
• Tagliatelle bolognese
