Community led cooking demos to show different styles, tips and techniques on how to cook with seasonal produce that is grown here in SD.About this Event
Foodshed is a distributor of locally grown produce. We work with over 25 farmers each week to provide high quality veggies, fruits, microgreens and mushrooms to our members. We focus in City Heights but offer our CSA bag subscription to all the SD region.
Our Cooking Demo's intention is to give tools to community members to be adventurous in the kitchen and in their eating. To learn new ways of cooking what is grown by the farmers of our region in order to incorporate more fresh produce in their daily meals.
These Cooking Demos are free and we accept donations.
