What’s Special About This Concert:Oklahoma Chamber Symphony celebrates the 150th birthday of composer Gustav Holst by performing his galactic masterpiece, The Planets. OCS Composer in Residence Clint Williams gives the first ever performance of a new piece based on the theme of Pluto. Inspired by the Austrian Alps, In This Broad Earth will be performed as a representation of our home planet. This piece was originally composed for concert band in 2015, but has since been rescored for orchestra in 2021. OCS will perform the orchestral version.
