According to supermarket shelves and millenial coworkers, it's spooky season. To mark this momentous occasion, Normal Cinema Club is reuniting with old friend Best Boy Magazine for a special screening of SEASON OF THE WITCH ! Also known as HALLOWEEN III ! Also known as THE HALLOWEEN MOVIE WITHOUT MICHAEL MYERS IN IT !
After encountering a traumatised patient babbling about a conspiracy involving Halloween masks, Dr. Daniel Challis uncovers a mystery preying on children and their insatiable need to consume and buy annoying things. Perhaps the true horror of the film is capitalism all along... Also maybe it's Irish people all along....
This underrated Halloween classic is written by the great Nigel Kneale, of Quatermass and Stone Tape fame. Though he disowned the final film, it nonetheless contains traces of his recurrent themes; scepticism of our modern ways and an interest in the pagan rituals which predate Western civilization. How far we've strayed, and how little we've learned.

This screening will take place in The Deer's Head. Doors will open at 7pm with the film beginning at 8pm. Zines will be available for purchase. This is a strictly 18+ event.
