About this Event
Join Mandy and the cetacean survey team to look for and log pelagic mammals including dolphins, porpoise’s whales and seals.
Learn how you can get involved by training to become a citizen scientist and help us to preserve and then protect them for future generations.
The project is part of a national survey carried out by Wildlife Trust across the UK. You do not need to have any experience of survey work or marine ecology, as there will be experts on hand to assist you. Both complete beginners and people already trained in the marine surveying methods are very welcome. Durham Wildlife Trust will provide all the visual resources, survey sheets and identification guides..
