Searching for Spanish speaking volunteers to assist asylum seekers translate forms and provide community resources.About this Event
We are looking for volunteers to help at our Asylum Workshop with greeting people, intake, Mailing/Check-Out, handing out resources. Most importantly we would like help with translation and interpretation of Spanish to English. This is a great opportunity to work on your Spanish skills and help the community in need.
There will be a mandatory trainign on April 18th at 5:30pm at the UNR campus Room: TBD! This traning will provide information about what is asylum, what each station does and we will review roles.
If you do not speak Spanish you are still welcome to join.
