Class Description
This accessible yoga series, Release Yoga is led by trauma-informed yoga instructor and sound meditation facilitator, Marlene Boyette, focuses on empowerment through choice and presence. Release Yoga welcomes participants to engage with and listen to their breath, their body, and their mind, developing a rhythm that honors their individual needs for both movement and stillness. Each class acts as an invitation for students to explore the way that they approach their yoga practice, creating space to release what doesn’t serve, support or sustain them.
About the Instructor
Marlene Boyette (she/her) is a Boston-based trauma-informed therapeutic yoga and sound meditation practitioner, educator and community activist, teaching since 2013.
