Welcome to Sean-nós Northwest 2025 NOW in its new (old) home of beautiful Portland, Oregon! Our unique festival is aimed at celebrating and promoting aspects of deep Irish cultural practice including sean-nós singing, vernacular dance forms, traditional music, and the Irish language. We endeavor to sustain vibrant communities for these and other Irish cultural practices (including storytelling, poetry, and craft) throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond through our festival programming. This year we are delighted to welcome our guests Dáithí Sproule, Anna Lethert, Danny Diamond, Jackie O'Reilly, and Scot Éamonn Ó Muilleora...with a few more guests waiting in the wings. This year we are spreading events out and shifting our schedule to accommodate a Thursday night concert, a Friday night all-sets céilí, weekend workshops, and early evening social events including a half-door/barrel dancing exhibition, intimate singing circle, and (of course) instrumental sessions.
