Winterruption YEG welcomes home playwright, director and singer songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage to wrap up this year's festival on Jan 25 at the Icehouse. He has returned to pop form with some of his most beautifully atmospheric music to date. His new album, “The Knowing” is a pivot; at once more subversive and yet more fashionable than ever before.Joining Savage is Montreal's Jane Inc., returning to the festival for the first time in 3 years. Her new album, recorded a year and a day after a horrific car crash, A RUPTURE A CANYON A BIRTH is an album marked by the underlying belief that nothing is permanent and we are all in estate of continual transience, every moment a gift which has no obligation to exist.
Rounding out the bill is another returning favourite, psuedo-antigone and tickets are on sale now along with festival wristbands.
