Thanksgiving is an important time to reflect on the loved ones in our lives and express gratitude for all the light they bring. Join us for a morning of thanks in November; participants are invited to reflect about people they’re grateful for, write them letters expressing their sentiments, and embellish these creations with a wax impression.
Students will learn the steps of wax sealing through a demonstration, which will cover the methods for properly melting the wax, controlling its temperature, and achieving the perfect consistency for the seals. Participants are also invited to explore various techniques of sealing, with pressed flowers, metallic stamps, and markers to embellish the impression. With this knowledge, everyone can add a nice touch to their letters!
