About this Event
Seals are year-round residents off the coast of Massachusetts. Come join Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC) staff on a guided walk down to a secluded beach location to view seals resting and swimming in their natural environment. During the walk, our experts will share fun facts about our flippered friends, why they are important to the environment, what species you can find during different seasons and much more.
The walk is only a few minutes down to the water, so this event is suitable for children and adults, but please note, we will be walking on uneven terrain/paths. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars for up-close viewing, but are not required as we have some available to use. Seals are usually still able to be seen without binoculars. Photographs are welcome!
PARKING: WDC staff will meet attendees at the bottom parking lot. If the bottom lot is full, please park up the driveway by the Center.
