“Seafood and Louisiana” is an informational and educational forum designed to share updates and current knowledge between experts in the seafood industry and the general public. It is a one-day conference, free and open to the public, focusing on the intersection of science and the seafood industry, fisheries management, and the impacts of seafood and health. The conference will include live panel discussions and presentations, including a live demonstration of rapid methods for seafood species identification by Florida State University professor and SeaD Consulting Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Prashant Singh. Other featured speakers will include experts from Louisiana universities and governmental agencies.
