Discovering Raymond Deane's 'Seachanges'
Join the staff at TU Dublin Conservatoire as we delve into Raymond Deane's Seachanges and peel back the layers of this complex work! In this 1-hour workshop we will demonstrate the main musical themes of Seachanges alongside the various compositional techniques and instrumental techniques used by Deane in his piece before giving a complete performance of the work.
This piece is a set work for students taking the leaving certificate music exam in 2026 and is for current 5th year music students and their teachers. Teachers are required to accompany and remain in the auditorium with their class for the duration of the event.
