About this Event
We are excited to be working with Hayden, the mosaic artist behind HaySimplicity as well as the owner of Simply Made Here located in Catonsville, Maryland! She will be teaching you step-by-step how to make your very own mosaic masterpiece. The best part is... ANYONE can do this!!! You would be surprised how easy and fun this will be. These make great gifts and can be hung on a wall, placed on a stand for display, or used as a hot pad or trivet.
This workshop will be focused on sea turtle mosaics featured in the picture! This workshop allows you to have SO much creativity and it is truly amazing to see each and every mosaic look unique once they are completed. Throughout this workshop you will be designing, picking your OWN colors, cutting, and gluing your mosaics! I will supply you will all the tools you need such as: tile cutters, glue, sea turtle cut out, sharpies, and of course mosaic tiles!
The final part of a mosaic is the grout! Don’t worry, you will NOT be doing this! Once you all have created your unique mosaics I will take them back to my shop where I will grout them and finish them up for you all. They will be ready 1-2 weeks after the event! Pickup will be located at Simply Made Here at 2302 Fredrick Road, Catonsville, MD, 21228.
