About this Event
Sea turtles are some of the most threatened species on Earth. The National Aquarium invites you to our Animal Care and Rescue Center to celebrate the conservation and protection of these amazing marine reptiles.
During our classroom event, Scouts will learn about the anatomy, diet, migration and life cycle of sea turtles. Scouts will also gain a better understanding of the threats sea turtles are facing and what conservation organizations, like the National Aquarium, are doing to help.
Due to limited parking and seating in the lobby, this will be a drop-off program. All participating Scouts will receive a National Aquarium patch.
- Ages: 5-12 (Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts)
- Cost: $18 per Scout
- Minimum/Maximum Participation: 12/24
Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are specifically for the Girl Scout program and do not include general admission to the Aquarium. However, program participants are eligible for discounted Aquarium admission.
