The most effective climate adaptation strategies reflect a deep understanding of climate impacts and are rooted in community values. Connected with the right resources, Gulf of Maine communities can become a global model for science-based, community-driven resilience planning and action.
Learn more from Dr. Hannah Baranes, Coastal Scientist, and Brian Ambrette, Director of the Maine State Resilience Office, on how partnerships between scientists, communities, and government can create long-lasting and effective adaptation. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Doors will open at 5:30 pm with complimentary refreshments available, and the program will begin at 6:00 pm. Free parking is available for all registered attendees in the lot adjacent to our building.
