🎃 Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest 2025 🎃Hosted by: Sea Shanty Scuba & Swim
When: Saturday, October 25, 2025 • 2:00–5:00 PM
Where: The Scuba Ranch, Terrell, TX
Entry Fee: $5 per diver
It’s spooky season…underwater!
Join us for one of our favorite annual events — the Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest!
What to Expect:
🫧 Get to the dive site early to set up your gear.
🫧 Briefing at 2:00 PM — start hollowing out your pumpkins.
🫧 Water entry for carving begins at 3:00 PM.
🫧 All carving (except top removal/pre-cleaning) happens underwater!
🫧 All divers must be out of the water by 4:00 PM.
🫧 Judging & in-person voting from 5:00–6:00 PM.
🫧 Prizes announced immediately after voting.
Pumpkin Purist Rules:
Your masterpiece must be made entirely from pumpkin — no non-pumpkin props allowed!
Safety & Requirements:
✅ Buddy teams only — no solo diving.
✅ Standard safe diving practices apply.
✅ Only certified divers may participate.
✅ All divers must be back to the assigned area by 4:00 PM.
How to Sign Up:
Complete a liability form and return it to us before the event (bring it in or email it) so you’re ready to splash in!
We can’t wait to see your spooky, silly, and spectacular pumpkin creations!
