Learn about our local sea turtles, then the basics of wire wrapping sea glass and jewelry tool use with local artist and avid beachomber Diana Watkins (Beach Beads). Celebrate sea turtle hatching season by making a natural found sea glass necklace with two baby sea turtles and crystals. Option to add seastar charm on necklace chain. New skills will be demonstrated for returning students adding some new sea glass wirewrap techniques. Each participant will be provided with a kit containing all necessary supplies. You may alternatively bring your sea glass finds, Diana will review for a possible sea glass wire wrap. Take home a beautiful necklace that is an environmentally friendly alternative to gemstones!
