Sea Dances — A Creative Evening of Dance, Film & Spoken WordSaturday 27th September | Doors 7pm for a 7.30 start
The sea moves us all — vast, vulnerable, vital.
For the past year, the Sea Dances project has asked artists, dancers, and writers:
“How does the sea move you? How do you see the sea move?”
This evening brings together their responses — an inspiring mix of:
New dance work created in residency at Sterts Theatre
An original score by soundscape artist Arlow Anwin
Costume and textile design by artist Nicki Harwood
Film, performance and spoken word by Gocha Maria Mendibles, Janice Schnieder, Shallal Dance Theatre and others
Artwork and research - available to browse from 7pm.
✨ This is an evening for the curious including fellow creatives, artists, and anyone who wants to explore how the sea can inspire new ideas and connections. Come to experience, reflect, and perhaps leave with fresh sparks for your own projects.
