Seán Millar (also known as Doctor Millar) is a musician and theatre maker from Dublin. He has been a recording and performing music artist since 1988 both as a solo artist and with his band The Cute Hoors. He also creates & composes music based theatre performances.
His 6 solo albums have received great acclaim both in Ireland and the U.K. including being named as one of the year’s top five albums by The Sunday Times.
He currently performs solo and as one half of Dogs, with long time friend Nick Kelly (The Fat Lady Sings). A documentary of their tour from Dublin to Glastonbury ‘The Song Cycle’ is winning awards at film festivals.
In 2022 Paulo Nutini chose Seán’s song ‘These Days’ as ‘the track that changed my life’.
