About this Event

Join San Diego Therapy Center's QPR Suicide Prevention Training on Thursday, October 17 at 2 PM. This workshop is for San Diego County residents who serve or reside in Oceanside, CA.

This 90 minute session (with an additional 30 minute question and answer time) will teach you the Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) method, a proven approach to recognizing the warning signs of a suicide crisis and intervening effectively. Participants will learn to:

Question individuals about suicidal thoughts
Persuade them to seek help
Refer them to appropriate resources

The training includes practical steps, role-playing, and time for questions. Enhance your skills to support individuals in crisis and make a meaningful impact in your community.
