About this Event

Join the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative for our Second Annual Regional Climate Recap on Monday, December 2nd from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm as we come together to connect on innovative research, honor climate leaders in the region, and reflect on the new year ahead. This meeting will be hosted in-person in partnership with the San Diego Natural History Museum located at 1788 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101. All are welcome to join as we celebrate SDRCC and our members' accomplishments in 2024!


As part of this celebration, we will recognize outstanding contributions in regional climate action through the relaunch of the . Please see below on how to nominate a Climate Leader today. We will round out this network meeting with a celebration networking reception and SDRCC Member poster session. Posters will showcase a variety of regional projects by SDRCC members, and attendees are encouraged to mingle and enjoy refreshments! Please see below on how to submit a poster. We look forward to celebrating our region's achievements with you!

2024 Climate Leader Award

We invite applications and nominations that celebrate individuals, teams, and organizations across the San Diego region who exemplify our key values–collaboration, leadership, flexibility, diversity and inclusion, and tangible impact–through their contributions to regional climate action.

  • Applications will be accepted from October 1 until October 31, at 12:00 AM, and awardee(s) will be notified by November 22.

Regional Recap Poster Session RSVP

SDRCC is excited to showcase the incredible climate initiatives led by our members across the region. To highlight these efforts, we invite you to submit and display your impactful regional projects during the poster session at our Network Meeting!

  • Self Submission: We encourage SDRCC members to submit an 18"x24" (width x height) poster showcasing a 2024 climate-related project or program to share with the SDRCC network. Indicate your poster submission when purchasing event tickets, and complete the . All posters are automatically accepted! Poster submissions without assistance are open until December 2.
  • Technical Support: SDRCC is also offering assistance to members who need support in creating their posters. To receive support, please fill out the and indicate you will need assistance by November 8 at 5 PM with information about your project and we will assist in creating your poster.
