Breakout Session: Coordinated Career Pathways (CCP)

Info: SDRC is excited to host a breakout session for the Coordinated Career Pathways (CCP) program in partnership with Options For All. This session will highlight CCP’s Career Pathway Navigation (CPN) and Customized Employment Specialist (CES) services, which provide essential support in building meaningful career paths. CPN is not exclusive to employment—it offers career counseling on a wide range of goals, including applying to college or university, learning a specific trade or skill, developing internship opportunities, completing certification programs, or even launching your own micro-enterprise. CES focuses on developing customized employment opportunities tailored to the unique skills and goals of individuals. Attendees will learn how these services work together to offer personalized support, helping participants achieve success in their chosen career paths. Info: We've put together an exciting and diverse Resource Fair, featuring over 16-20 tables with a range of employers, community partners, vendors, and micro-enterprises. Connect with essential community partners including the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). Discover valuable resources from vendors like PRIDE Industries, Options for All, Goodwill, and The Arc of San Diego. Don't miss the unique offerings from local micro-enterprises, including artwork, photography, plants, cookies, and more! The fair will run for about an hour, providing a fantastic opportunity to network and explore resources that support meaningful employment and community engagement.

The Arc of San Diego works closely with SDRC to offer Individual and Group Placement opportunities, helping individuals secure competitive, integrated employment. The session will highlight the critical roles of job development and on-site job coaching, demonstrating how these services equip individuals with the skills and support needed to thrive in the workforce.
