Info: Join us for an exciting Job Readiness Workshop hosted by Project SEARCH! This interactive session will equip attendees with valuable tips and strategies to prepare for success in the workforce. Whether you're polishing your resume, practicing interview skills, or learning about workplace expectations, this workshop will help you feel confident and ready to make the most of the upcoming fair. We’ll also cover how to approach employers about potential employment opportunities, including how to introduce yourself, highlight your skills, and ask thoughtful questions that show your interest and enthusiasm. Info: SDRC is excited to host a breakout session for the Coordinated Career Pathways (CCP) program in partnership with Options For All. This session will highlight CCP’s Career Pathway Navigation (CPN) and Customized Employment Specialist (CES) services, which provide essential support in building meaningful career paths. CPN is not exclusive to employment—it offers career counseling on a wide range of goals, including applying to college or university, learning a specific trade or skill, developing internship opportunities, completing certification programs, or even launching your own micro-enterprise. CES focuses on developing customized employment opportunities tailored to the unique skills and goals of individuals. Attendees will learn how these services work together to offer personalized support, helping participants achieve success in their chosen career paths. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the impact of CCP services!

Info: We've put together an exciting and diverse Resource Fair, featuring over 16-20 tables with a range of employers, community partners, vendors, and micro-enterprises. Explore employment opportunities from top companies like LEGOLAND, The San Diego Zoo, The County of San Diego. Connect with essential community partners including the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). Discover valuable resources from vendors like PRIDE Industries, Options for All, Goodwill, and The Arc of San Diego. Don't miss the unique offerings from local micro-enterprises, including artwork, photography, plants, cookies, and more! The fair will run for about an hour, providing a fantastic opportunity to network and explore resources that support meaningful employment and community engagement.

Info: Join us for an insightful breakout session on the Paid Internship Program (PIP), a workforce integration program designed to support individuals in securing competitive employment. This session will dive into how PIP goes beyond work experience to foster long-term career pathways. PRIDE Industries, in partnership with the County of San Diego through Jay’s Program, will showcase their collaborative efforts in creating inclusive employment opportunities.

Info: This session will provide an overview of Supported Employment services; highlighting both Individual and Group placement models. The Arc of San Diego works closely with SDRC to offer Individual and Group Placement opportunities, helping individuals secure competitive, integrated employment. The session will highlight the critical roles of job development and on-site job coaching, demonstrating how these services equip individuals with the skills and support needed to thrive in the workforce.
