Do skids in the dirt, in a legal, organised and fun place!
Lardner Park lets us mess up a perfectly good grass field, and by the time we return it's grown back, ready for our automotive shenanigans.
Motorkhana is a great way to dip your toes into club level motorsport, with the speeds kept to 1st and 2nd gear, and the wear on the car being relatively low when run on dirt.
It's also a great place to talk with others already deep into club level motorsport, and to have a passenger to give you some pointers, and to jump in their ride to see how they do it!
Our Come and Try events are non-competitive and fun oriented.
We will have 2 layouts running next to each other, and each combination of cones will have 2 or 3 different maps to try.
Being a non-competitive event, you can try the easier map, the most challenging map, or just make up your own map around the cones.
Passengers are only allowed if the driver or passenger hold a Motorsport Australia Speed license.
The day is as cheap as $40 for SDM members with a speed license, or up to $85 for come and try non-members.
