South Dakota State Rabbit Show 2025The Brookings Rabbit Club (BRC), along with the South Dakota Rabbit Breeders Association (SDRBA), will be hosting the South Dakota State Show on October 11 &12, 2025 at the Codington County Expo Building, 112 21st St, Watertown, SD.
The SDRBA and the Brookings Rabbit Club will each host an Open and a Youth Show on each day. (2 open and 2 youth shows per day).
Judges: Mike Avesing, IA; Dave Cardinal, WI; Erik Bengtson, MN; Eric Mixdorf, IA; Mark Fronning, ND; Inga Dudley, MN; and Terry Fender, OH.

Entries will be DAY OF the Show Only
Exhibitors will need to pay each club for the shows that they are exhibiting in.
Entry Fees: $3.50 and $1.50 for Fur
**After rabbits are entered, no changes may be made at the show table per ARBA guidelines**
Each breed please provide your own writer.
Youth shows will follow Open breeds.
Doors will be open Friday night 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Judging begins at 9 a.m.
Doors open at 7 a.m.
8:30 a.m. - All entries due for OPEN SHOW A and Youth SHOW A
9:00 a.m. Sharp - Judging Begins for Show A
10:00 a.m. - All entries due for OPEN SHOW B and Youth SHOW B
Open Show Sanctions: Britannia petite, Dutch, English Spot, Flemish Giant, Havana, Himalayan, Holland Lop, Jersey Wooly, Lionhead, Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Netherland Dwarf, New Zealand, and Polish.
Youth Sanctions: Havana, Himalayan, Holland Lop, Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Mini Satin, Netherland Dwarf, Polish, and Satin.
SANCTIONED BREEDS: Must have a minimum of 15 entries for BOB & BOS awards to be given.

Lunch stand will be available and Raffle Table – donations appreciated.

Cost: $20 adults...$15 children ages 8 to 12, 7 and under free.

A block of rooms has been set aside at Days Inn for exhibitors (2900 9th Ave SE, Watertown SD). Reservations may be made by calling Days Inn at (605) 886-3500. Days Inn is offering a rate of $89 + tax if you call the Watertown number and mention you are coming for the rabbit show.
