🗿 Sculptural Workshop: Creating a Bust 🗿Inspired by the work of Sharon Griffin
Join us for an immersive, hands-on sculptural workshop exploring figurative clay busts. Drawing inspiration from Sharon Griffin’s expressive approach, you’ll learn to build a sculptural portrait using hand-building techniques, without internal armatures, working with the clay’s natural strength and character.
During the session you will explore:
✨ Building a self-supporting bust form
✨ Modelling facial features and expression
✨ Creating surface textures and visual character
✨ Finishing techniques to bring your piece to life
This workshop is ideal for those with some ceramics experience or confident beginners happy to experiment and play with form. All materials and tools are provided, and your finished piece will be fired and ready for collection after the workshop. Refreshments Included!
