The comprehensive course features a combination of didactic and hands-on training, ensuring a thorough understanding and practical application of Sculptra® techniques. Upon successful completion, attendees will be awarded a Certificate of Training.
Course Description
Injectable poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra® Aesthetic) helps replace the lost collagen in the skin and can help stimulate the gradual restoration of the collagen framework. Replacement and restoration of the collagen frameworks help to create a subtle, refined correction of wrinkles. The Sculptra training course has a maximum of 8 attendees. This intimate course setting allows the instructor to spend individualized time with each attendee.
Didactic Session
Sculptra® Aesthetic is a long-lasting dermal filler composed of PLLA, a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer. During this course, you will learn the latest injection techniques and processes to achieve optimal results for your clients in the following areas: face, arms, abdomen, knees.
The Sculptra® Aesthetic Training Course begins with an intensive and thorough lecture session where you will:
-Discuss the purpose and goals of Sculptra® Aesthetic
-Understand the treatment areas for Sculptra® Aesthetic including cheeks, nasolabial folds, melomental folds, jawline, arms, abdomen and knees
-Examine the prep and reconstitution of Sculptra® Aesthetic
-Learn the patient assessment and selection process and how to perform patient consultations specific to using Sculptra® Aesthetic
-Understand the injection techniques
-Discuss Sculptra indications and contraindications
Hands-on Training
While we have models for class, all class participants should have at least one model for treatment. This is a group training environment. Students will perform the client consultation, develop a treatment plan and perform the injections all under the supervision of the instructor.
Course materials and Sculptra® Aesthetic Training Certification
Attendees receive reference materials to review prior to the course as well as consent forms, medical history forms and printed take home resources. After successfully completing the course, attendees receive a Sculptra® Aesthetic Training Certification with an official Certificate of Training.
