Paint or Sculpt

Come along and work directly from the model over five sessions. This class is held in the school room which is well equipped with easels, drawing boards, sculpture stands, tables and chairs. There is also a sink with jars, palletts, newspaper, plum lines and scaled measuring sticks.

Model will begin sitting at 10am and finish at 1pm with a half hour break. Sculptors can move around the model using the sculpting stands on wheels. Painters can set up easels and desks.

Bring your own paints and drawing materials and sculpture tools. You can purchase half bags of clay on the day and also have your worked fired.

This will be a friendly class with a shared coffee break in the common room.

This affordabel class is untutored and designed to enable experienced artists and beginners alike to work directly from the model and to share ideas. Each term there will be two blocks of five sessions

LOCATION

The School Room, Bath Artists Studios, The Old Malthouse, Comfortable Place, Bath BA1 3AJ. This is a tight turning off Upper Bristol Road, half way between the Hop Pole and Charlotte Street.
