Dear Nature Volunteers,The management plan for the water meads at Wolfson requires regular seasonal grazing by cattle, which, in turn, requires decent post and wire fencing to keep them on the meads.
Come the Spring, we plan to install a final length of fence along the South boundary of the south mead, but before we can do that we need to take out more of a dense margin of mixed scrub, including blackthorn, on the wrong side of the fence-line, and that's the aim of today's task.
No previous experience is necessary.
Booking is not necessary.

WANT TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER LEADER OR DRIVER?
We're short of task leaders at the moment and we can't carry on without them.
Some of our tasks are much easier to lead than others, so if you're a regular volunteer please consider stepping up to do a bit of leading. Any of the task leaders will be happy to let you shadow them until you're confident you know the ropes. If you are interested, please get in touch - we need more leaders.
